Kenlein Karaoke

We are big fans of Karaoke and really enjoy singing at home using our PS2 and several of the new Karaoke Revolution games.  We bought the American Idol version and these pictures are our characters singing on the screen.
When we get a little better, we'll do a video.
Lots of fun!

We used the Eye Toy camera to take photos of ourselves.  The Eye Toy creates a 3D head that you can then use in the game.  You pick the clothes, accessories, etc.
As you win by scoring very high, you get new clothes you can choose from or new song choices and trophies.

Scoring is done by hitting the proper notes. There is a visual scale showing the words and the notes, so you can know the range you should be singing in.  The computer calculates how well you do and you get the score.
When you're doing really well, you will glow and the crowd will "go wild".
Really fun.

Chuck singing on the "Hollywood" stage

Check out the screen in the background.  You can set up the Eye Toy to show you singing, behind you on the stage.  This was us actually singing during this song.

See "the real" Chuck in the background singing on the screen?
